You might read many reviews wch talk negative about this HP 712w 256GB USB 3.2 Flash Drive (Black). And FYI “EACH AND ONE OF THEM IS TRUE”. There is nothing good about this pendrive, SO DONT FALL FOR LOW PRICE TRAP AND SUFFER.> Firstly its a old stock , of Aug 2024. Looks like this items soldParticularly by ClicktechRetailPrivateLtd in low price is a SCAM & is done to clear old stock and defective batch from their inventory asap* If you try to register the product in HP website, you wont find a unique SN (as per the example they mentioned in thier website) which we need to put in their website* once you fall to their trap there is no return or replacement option , and if you go to near by HP service centre those people will not help you or give a replacement and give some or other reason . Then if you end up visiting to them in a hope and you will lose your time and patience eventually and you’ll give up.* Its has 230GB usable space, Dont know how a PD can loose 25GB just like that & Write speed is pathetically slow and bad. PFA* In the fast paced world this pendrive will make you disappoint in the choice of yours n ordering it from Amzon

Slow speed about 18-25 MBPS
Small but transfer speed is too slow even in 3.2 usb jack, solid build, but heats much ,If you seek high speed then find another product otherwise it’s ok in this price

So far so good. Speed is good though doesn’t reach the actual usb 3.0 speeds. Though plastic, the quality is good. For the price, it’s certainly worth it.
